Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide (DSIP) is a naturally occurring nonapeptide composed of nine
amino acids. Originally isolated in 1977 from rabbit cerebrovascular blood, DSIP has been a
subject of interest in scientific literature for its potential regulatory effects on sleep cycles,
neurochemical balance, and systemic physiology in animal and in vitro models.
